The Personal Mission
The Hands of Relief story began as a personal urge for the founder. An urge fixated and focused on giving a helping hand to people who desperately needed help. The urge took shape from situations that resonates with many of us. Situations where we yearn for a helping hand. Just a little bit of relief to get through another day
Relief Care Basket Project
As the interactions with people through Relief Trekker increased so did the clarity of what Hands of Relief needed to focus on as its backbone. Hunger.
And thus responding to the major hunger problem among the people, the core HoR project was born

Family Empowerment Program
Having set the fight against hunger as the core focus,
a lasting formulae for this battle was needed. After carrying out a families assessment a need for an
effective approach to our intervention was realized.
Family Empowerment Training Program
To be used to try and break the cycle of poverty through empowerment and vocational trainings.
Sacks of Hope
Having the family training program underway and having assessed what the families required it was time to
supplement the Relief care basket with a project that had the sustainability aspect And in the HoR core spirit of
fighting hunger Sacks Of Hope came to be.
To provide families with vegetables year round and to
ensure the families had the much needed food security.
DROPS OF LIFE
2020 came with such a glimmer of hope and full of expectations but from nowhere Corvid -19 hit
HoR had to think fast in order to act quick and thus
Drops of Life Program
Was initiated.An initiative that would try and push for more water hygiene and sanitation initiatives to families that need it the most in HoR’s target areas.
RELIEF TREKKER
Being on the road during this work travels and meeting
new people with different life stories who were in need
of a helping hand. Bore the urge to do more which in
turn birthed Hands of Relief's first initiative

around the country made his passion grow and in turn it slowly morphed into a personal mission he coined

With so many people’s lives being touched through
Relief Trekker and Relief Care Basket Project
and the passion turning out not to be just an emotional reaction but rather a calling. It was time for the biggest milestone yet.
It was time to turn from personal mission.
It was time to be registered.
